Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to provide a clear and consistent process for leave requests while protecting delivery commitments and team planning.
Scope
This policy applies to all planned and unplanned absences, including personal leave, illness, emergencies, and other time away from work.
General Rules
The following rules apply unless the Company agrees otherwise in writing:
- Leave must be requested through the Company's leave request form: Leave Request Form
- Leave is not approved until the Company confirms approval
- Contractors must not record working time for approved leave periods
- Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, leave for contractors is unpaid
Submission Method
When submitting the form, the contractor should:
- Enter their full name
- Enter their working email address
- Enter the dates requested or expected period of absence
- Enter the reason or context for the leave request, where appropriate
- Enter any handover information, blockers, deadlines, approvals, or status notes needed for continuity
Leave requests should be completed with the same level of clarity and completeness expected for daily reporting.
